Danielle Frylinck: Local fashion designer from Johannesburg

Danielle Frylinck: Local fashion designer from Johannesburg

I am proud to present to you the Danielle Frylinck Spring Collection 2019. This collection is popping with spring dresses and timeless classics.

Who is Danielle Frylink?

Danielle Frylink (DF) is a local designer based in Johannesburg. Her online shop for women is a hidden gem. Although I feel that our local talent shouldn’t be so hidden. Here’s more about the local gem!

What’s the big deal?

I am constantly receiving compliments whenever I wear my Danielle Frylinck clothes. No really… constantly! My sister even said that we should start walking around with her business cards for each time someone asks us where our DF clothes are from (yes, my sister is also a DF fan!).

Support local and sustainable

It is so important to support local designers in South Africa that follow sustainable business practices. As more awareness is created about the damaging effects of fast fashion on people and the earth, it is vital to exert our power by minimizing (and even abandoning… but baby steps for now) our support of fast fashion. Supporting local designers empowers the rich talent pool of our country. Also, it increases job creation which is a topic very close to my heart.

Here are my top 5 ‘must have’s’ of Danielle Frylinck’s spring collection:

  1. Cher Jumpsuit - who doesn’t want to be spotted in a spot ?!

2. The Kansas shirt and pants which you can either mix and match the blue and mustard yellow…or… mono-style baby!

3. The Petra top because it’s so easy to wear with everything for any occasion. Love the back!
